Into the Arms of Strangers

Today we saw a movie about what a Jewish kids life was when Hitler and his army took over. The Jewish kids seem to have some fun before Hitler came. Jewish kids now had to go to different schools then the non-Jewish kids. It was pretty hard for a family to leave out of the country because you had to get a passport  from the Nazi to be able to leave. Then the Nazi destroyed a lot of Jewish business therefore some Jewish didn't have a job. Then there was a transportation in which the kids can ride to leave but not there parents, it was called the kinder transport. Parents always told there kids that they will see each other again just so the kids would go. Then when they stop at Holland the Nazi treated the kids bad, by shouting at them and making them open there bags. In Holland the children felt more free and they sang and played around. Then the children were picked up by foster parents. Some of the children didn't get foster parents so they were send to a camp which was actually an orphanage. Then some of the children had to learn English in order to communicate with the people in England. After that some kids got deported but it was only kids that were 16 and up. The Jewish kids wrote letters to their parents explaining how they feel so far. Then some kids found out that their parents got deported, some parents were deported to Spain and others went somewhere else. After the war finish some kids got reunited with their family or parents and they were happy to be reunited again.
