Hoot

I'm reading a book called Hoot. I chose this book because I heard kids talking about the movie so I wanted to see if the book was similar to what they said. So far in the book this kid named Roy found out about a girl named Beatrice and who she is. The construction site put cops on patrol to see who is the person vandalizing the site. Also Roy only knows that Beatrice is friends with the bare-foot boy and they have something to do with the construction site being vandalized.
