The Rodeo

      I have never been to the carnival in my entire time being in Austin and that's about 13 years now. My siblings have gone with their friends and I have been invited but have never gone. This year I wanted to finally go with someone but I found out that for some reason it's more expensive than usual. That kind of brought my hopes of going, down because they were telling me the prices for everything and from what I calculated it was about $50 to really enjoy the carnival. At that point I would rather just go to six flags, somewhere I have been to and that I know I would enjoy. I guess it's a sign that I shouldn't go to the carnival, it's a very superstitious point of view but I'm starting to believe it. I think it's just a place people go to hang out with friends but at the point we could go anywhere else and enjoy our time more. For now I will keep missing out on going to the carnival and just spend my money elsewhere.

The Brain

        It's important to keep challenging ourselves as much as we can to improve our intelligence and change the way our brain works in a positive way. Many people choose to take the easy paths in any situation and they don't know that that's just affecting them in the end. For example, when we take test in school and people cheat to get a passing grade. They're honestly just hurting themselves because they're missing out on an opportunity to work their brain out. This is the same for any other situation in life not just school or work. It's important that we continue to we make and effort to keep challenging ourselves daily. That doesn't mean to make everything difficult for yourself all the time either. I'm just trying to say that one should step out of their comfort zone every now and then to explore new areas of certain subjects.

The Update

      There's an update that was made for a game that came out like 2 years ago and it's one of the biggest updates for the game. The hype for this update has kind of died down but I'm still going to get on to see what's new. The game I'm talking about is GTA V one of the most controversial games to society due to all the violence it contains and all the little kids that are playing it. I myself fall under the category of the minors playing this game but I'm more considerate of the content it includes and why it would be idiotic to attempt any of it. Well the big update that came out for this game was a game mode called heist which everyone has been waiting for a long time. The way it works is a group of four players prepare to create a big scheme to rob a bank or any other big facility. Then after they prepared well they play out the scheme and make a lot of money. The concept of the game mode is bad for the real life but overall I think it'll be fun to play with friends.

Spring Break

      This spring break I will more than likely be attending SXSW to see some artist and enjoy the technology aspect of the event as well. My friend Lupe is excited because one of his favorite youtubers is coming, his youtube name is JrMun0z. I've seen some of his videos and he's pretty funny so I can't wait to meet him. My friend apparently says that I look like him but I think he says that just because we're both light skin. I yet to know which artist are coming so I don't really know who to look forward too but I'm still going for the experience. Although, I won't be there all week so the days in which I'm not there I'll probably be playing the guitar. I've learned so much so far and can't wait to keep expanding on that knowledge so that I'm able to compose some music of my own instead of just learning songs made by others.

The Weekend

       The weekend felt pretty short for me even though we had a 3-day weekend. Although, something exciting that happened this 3-day weekend was that I learned some new parts to a song I'm learning. Well actually it's two songs that I'm currently learning and for both I'm progressing a lot. The songs are "I Gave You All" and "Day Old Hate" both made by different artist. The first song was made by a band called Mumford and Sons, the second song was made by City and Colour. I was introduced to these bands during the winter break through Pandora. At first I just listened to City and Colour and as time went by I related the groups' music more and more. Then one of Mumford and Sons songs came up so I got into that band after that.

Valentines Day

       It's crazy how my perspective on this day changes as time goes by and I start to learn about more aspects of it. When I was in elementary the stressful thing about this day was finding valentines cards for the class the day before. It was an awesome thing though because it actually felt like a time in which the whole class bonded no one was left out. Now before valentines I stress about what I'm going to get my friends or what we're going to do that day. It's no longer just about a card with the words to: and from: now we have to write well thought out letters. I've even noticed that some people feel left out on Valentines day it's not the joyous holiday I use to see it as. I still like celebrating it anyways because even when we don't have friends to be with we have our family to rely on.

Living Alone

      As a teenager the thing we desire 99% of the time is to finally move out and be able to enjoy life on our own at our own pace. What we don't realize is that there's more requirements to moving out and being independent than we actually think. Most of us by now know about paying bills and taxes but that's just the beginning of it. There's much more to that though, we have to have a lot of responsibility. Responsible because as soon as a person misses a payment the debts start to add up and that's not good. As soon as debts start to add up now instead of working to enjoy life with the money you make you have to make the money pay debts. So now these things called debts have taken away from the enjoyment of your own money and pretty much start controlling your life. All of a sudden moving out doesn't seem that fun in my opinion.
