A side scrolling game on mobile is very different from a side scrolling game on console. The first thing is that a console has many different buttons, therefore having more variety for actions on the game. While on the mobile device some actions from the game must be taken away due to there being less buttons on the screen. The console has more space for coding and the games play out more smoothly. While the mobile games can hold less content and some actions are delayed, due to their being less coding. The mobile device can't hold so much content due to it's lack in memory. I think a console game is more complex and it would be interesting to check out the coding for console side scrolling games, to compare them to the coding for the mobile games.
