The Wizard

   We watched a movie called The Wizard which was about three kids who are traveling to a place called Video Armagedon. At that place they're having a competition to win $30,000. It starts out with a little boy named Jimmy traveling to California. Then his mom is deciding to put him in a house so he won't wander around everywhere. After his friend Corey finds out about what they're going to do him he decides that he and Jimmy would take an adventure to California. Finally they meet a girl at the bus station named Hailey who is the one that tells them about the competition and she decides to join them on their adventure.

   The girl tells them about the competition after she sees how good Jimmy was in the game at the bus station. Hailey and the other kids got in the back of a truck because they didn't have enough money to pay for a bus ticket. Through the whole movie they are just betting against any person they see playing arcade games to get money in order to go to L.A for the competition. Then they start training Jimmy for the competition which is only 3 days away. While they're doing all this things Corey's dad and the detective are looking for the kids. In one part of the movie the detective catches Jimmy but then some of Hailey's friends help him Jimmy get away.

   Finally towards the end of the movie they make it to Video Armagedon pretty late but still enter the competition. Then in the competiton Jimmy is one of the final three. After the people know who the final three are they take a break. On break time Lucas tells the detective where Jimmy is so that the detective gets Jimmy and Jimmy won't be in the comptition. Even though Jimmy makes it back to the competition pretty late. In the end Jimmy wins the competition and they find out what Jimmy meant by California.
